VOK?-SL 320 is a silicone-containing surface additive for solventborne coatings that slightly reduces surface tension and slightly improves slip. Good leveling and defoaming effect; It is also recommended for room temperature curing plastic systems.

Features and benefits 

This additive slightly reduces the surface tension of the coating. As a leveling agent, it also has a defoaming function, which is particularly suitable for non-polar and medium-polar systems. Its defoaming effect rises with increasing polarity. VOK?-320 protects against "ghosting" and "telegram" problems. When solving such a problem, additives should be added to the coating that needs to be reapplied. 

Recommended Use 

The additive is particularly recommended for solventborne coating systems, but can also be used in waterborne systems. 

The recommended dosage of 0.05-0.6 % of the additive dosage (form of supply) is based on the total formulation.

The above recommended dosage is for reference, and the appropriate dosage needs to be determined through a series of tests

The additive can be added at any stage, including post-adding.

Unlike ordinary silicone fluids, the additive is "user safe". However, before use, a series of tests should be carried out to confirm whether the additive is foam stabilizing, in addition to evaluating its recoating and crater tendencies.
